Israel Is In A War, What Do We Do?

       What is going on in Israel? Friends, I am pouring my heart out to you in this post. Israel is at war and what I have seen and heard is completely barbaric, this is not okay. This is very biblical because Jesus said in the last and evil days, we would see men's hearts grow cold, wars, and rumors of wars. There is very much a coldness and hatred going on right now. This is very much the antichrist spirit that is happening spiritually but will manifest in the natural before long. As you know, Israel is very dear to my heart. The Lord placed a love for the Jewish people and for Israel in my heart years ago. As I was watching the videos of what had happened, all I could do was cry and become angry at what was happening. The Lord reminded me of the book of Esther when Haman was killing all the Jews because of the hatred in his heart. This is exactly what we are seeing being played out right now. 

    Why should we care, because when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you became a spiritual Jew. I want you to think about this for a moment. We are the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. The Lord promised Abraham that he would be a father of many nations. We are the ingrafted ones or the adopted ones. Israel is a type of Naomi and we are Ruth. Naomi was a Jew and Ruth was a gentile and they both loved one another as if they were blood kin. The Lord says, "We are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem." This is a commandment from God that we are to heed carefully. The Lord also says, " I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you." 

    So, what do we do now? We are to stand up for truth and not compromise. There has been enough compromising going on in our world. We are not to be silent any longer, we are to fight in prayer for the evil that is being done. We wrestle not with flesh and blood, we war against principalities and evil powers. We are to support Israel no matter what even in the face of evil, we are to not back down. Let us pray for Israel, for the captives to be returned unharmed, and that the war would die down. Let us also pray for our leaders, that they would make wise decisions concerning Israel and the Jewish people. If you have Jewish friends or family, encourage them, and help them in any way possible. So many are hurting and they need comfort right now. Let us pray for one another and do unto others as we would want others to do to us. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Shalom, until next time!
