Sometimes You Have To Press Your Way To Jesus

 Good Morning Dear Friends!

I hope you have all been doing well! I am coming to you with a new blog post that I hope encourages and blesses you! So the word press has really been in my spirit man and everything that I have read and listened to has mentioned the word press. What does it mean to press? Press means you feel a pressure or to push with force. Think about when you are in a crowd and you need to get by, you usually have to force your way and push a little to get by. There is a powerful story in the Bible that reminds me of the word press. I am going to paraphrase this story. In Luke chapter 8 verses 43-48, we are met by a woman who has suffered painful bleeding for 12 years. She had went to doctor after doctor and no one could help her. She had suffered for such a long time, she finally surrendered that this was going to be the way it was going to be.

One day, she had heard of the Healer coming into town name Jesus. Word had gotten around about all the miracles that were happening through Jesus. She saw a crowd pass by and thought to herself, "Maybe He will heal me?" She followed the crowd and then she caught glimpse of Jesus up ahead. She began to press her way through the crowd. The crowd began pushing against her, but she kept her eyes on Jesus and said to herself, "If I could just touch the hem of His garment, I will be healed." She kept pressing, she didn't give up, she was desperate for her healing. She was inches away from grabbing the hem of His garment. She reached out and touched and she was instantly healed. Jesus stopped walking and said, "Who touched Me?" The disciples said, "Jesus, everyone is touching you." Jesus said again, "Virtue left my body, who touched Me?"

The woman spoke up and said it was her and explained what she had been dealing with over the years. He looked at her and said, "Your faith has healed you." The Lord wants you to know that whatever you are facing today, whatever you are dealing with today, He wants you to press into Him. He wants you to believe that only He can heal you, satisfy your longing within your heart, keep you, provide for you, and care for you. He loves you dear friends and He wants you to be His and He to be yours. "I Am your beloved and you are Mine." Song of Solomon 2:17 and I am planning on writing another blog post about this scripture Lord willing. Get alone before the Lord today and pour out your heart before Him, tell Him all that is going on in your heart, He wants to hear from you. Why, because He cares and loves you. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Shalom, until next time!
