Good Morning Everyone!
I hope you are all doing well today! I have another blog post for you and I pray that this one is encouraging for everyone! So, I have a few questions to ask. Where can we go when we are in a place full of bad news? How can we regain clarity in a world full of confusion? Where can we find refuge while the storm is raging on? There's only one place I can think of and that is the Word of God. Ecclesiastes 1:9 says, "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun." What this means is what we are seeing and hearing happening before us is not new to God. It may be new to us, but not to Him. Remember He has a plan, He has had one since before the beginning of time. We can have peace in the midst of the storm, we can have faith in the midst of uncertain and impossible circumstances. We can have hope in a hopeless situation.
I am reminded that what the enemy meant for evil, God will turn it around for our good. God never wastes your pain, your agony, the storms of your life. What was sent to break you will make you. Trusting God and holding to His word can change our lives, our mind set, and help us to press on to what God has in store for us. If you haven't noticed, man says a lot throughout the day, but it's God's word that will remain and continue on forever. His word is true and it has and will continue to stand the test of time. God's word is the oldest book today, but the most revelant of books today. His word is alive and it is sharper than any two-edged sword. It has the power to heal you, change your mind-set, correct you, discipline you, connect you with Him, show you mysteries that you have never heard of and more!
In our world today, we need to be in our Bibles even more so now than ever! Friends, in a world of bad news, we can find that our Bibles are full of good news, it can change our world today, that's how powerful it is! We can find comfort in God's word, joy, peace, deliverance, and solid truth. In a world that is consummed with so many lies and deceit, we can hold onto God's truth for He is not a Man that He should lie. Friends, that's one thing that God cannot do is lie, it goes against His word. He is a Man of His word and He will fulfill every single word in His word. So, the next time you are feeling anxious about what the news reporter has said or the headline of a article online, stop and say, I may not know what is going to happen in the next moment, but I know Who holds the next moment of my life and that is God!
Friends, He isn't going anywhere, He is never going to leave us nor forsake us no matter what happens in this world. He is still on the throne and He will continue to rule and reign on His throne forever and ever even after this world has passed away. His word will remain forever! Get in the word of God and find your peace today. Find your joy today, find your hope today. Spend time with the One who is the Beginning and the End. If He knew the beginning and the end, then you can trust Him to know what's in the middle. Cling to your heavenly father today and look up for your redemption is coming near! May the Lord bless you and keep you dear friends! Let the Lord encourage your hearts today and remember what you are seeing around you is fleeting, it won't last forever. He will soon and very soon come on the clouds of glory to receive His beautiful bride! Shalom, until next time!
