Good Morning Everyone!
I hope you are all doing well today. So, I have a new blog post for you today. So, Thursday was my last day for the year, and I have started summer break. A lot of change has come my way this past week. First off, the teacher that I have worked with for 4 years in pre-k is leaving and going to another school. The teacher that I thought was coming down to work with me is staying in the grade that she is currently teaching. So, this past week has been an emotional roller coaster ride to say the least. Earlier this week, I received an opportunity to speak at my church tomorrow night. I have never done this before, but I have been really excited and a little nervous. With all that being said, the word that I kept hearing over and over again is, I am starting a new chapter.
When I first heard the Lord speak these words into my heart, I thought, "Really, Lord?" For 4 days in a row, that's what I have been hearing over and over again. God is doing a new thing and I am truly thankful and grateful! I was even told yesterday of a new job opportunity. So, what am I trying to say? Nothing is impossible with God, yes, I have prayed for many things to happen in my life, and it has been a long wait, but I am starting to see the beginning of an adventure. It may not come when we want, but God is always right on time. A lot of change has taken place over the past month and this past week, but I know that God is moving in the midst of circumstances. It hasn't been an easy journey to wait on the Lord, but it has been worth it.
So, for those of you that may not see God moving or listening to your prayers, it's okay. He hasn't forgotten you and He will move in your circumstances and life situation. It may seem as if God isn't there, but He is, He is moving even when you cannot see Him or feel Him near you. I want to encourage you to keep the faith and keep trusting in Him. When I finally let go of the situation and surrendered over to God, that's when things began changing. I also stopped trying to figure everything out, I let go so God could do what only He could do. So, today if you are feeling like life is passing you by or you are not seeing anything happening in your life, I pray that you do not give up hope. God gave us a hope and a future because He loves and cares for us. Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." May the Lord bless you and keep you. Shalom, until next time!
