God Cares

I hope you are all doing well this week! I have been doing well, getting prepared for going back to work in a couple of weeks. It's hard to believe that Summer is winding down! It's like we just started Summer and now it's coming to an end. In this new blog post, I am going to write what the Lord has put on my heart. So this past week has been busy, but a bit of a struggle. I have experienced a lot of stress this week and it almost got the best of me. The Lord began speaking to me the other night and He lovingly said to me, "Katherine, I need you to calm down, it's going to be okay." He said, "I want you to cast your cares upon Me." "I know it's hard sometimes because you don't know what's going on, but I need to let go and give them to Me so I can work them out." I felt so relieved and comforted. 

Friends, sometimes life can really throw some curveballs our way. Sometimes it feels like someone has pulled the rug out from underneath you. You may be feeling frustrated, confused, angry, scared, intimidated, or puzzled by what's going on around you, but with all that being said, God cares. He really does, I know sometimes it doesn't feel like it, but He sees all, hears all, and knows all. God's love reminds me of a mother's love for her child or children. She is very protective and cares for her children. Just like a mother cares and loves her child, God cares and loves His children too. He will move heaven and earth for His children because He loves us so much. This is why He sent His Son to die for us because He didn't want us to suffer destruction at the end of our time on earth. 

He loves us too much to send us to hell, we are the ones who make choices that determine our destiny. Our destiny meaning where we will spend eternity with Him in heaven or in hell. Do not allow the enemy to lie to you saying that God sends people to hell. That is not so, He loves His children too much to allow that, but He allowed us to make our own choices and those choices we make determine our destiny. He gives us chance after chance to make things right before our days are done, but it's up to us to listen and make the right choice. So, friends, if you are struggling today or if you have been struggling like I have been this week, be at peace, He cares for you. He loves you and He wants you to give it to Him and trust that He will turn things around and make it right. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Shalom, until next time!
