Good Morning Everyone!
I hope you are having a good week! I have been very busy this week and I am two days away from Spring break! This morning, I am going to write about God's goodness. There may not be a lot of good happening in the world right now, but we can experience God's goodness in the midst of difficulty. In this post, I will explain how we can experience God's goodness and the fact that He wants us to taste His goodness. Now, before we begin, I hope you have your cup of coffee or tea with you. I have my cup of French vanilla coffee and it tastes so good! Let's begin!
So, how can we taste God's goodness? We can start by reading His word, so many people do not realize that there is always something to learn in God's word. Even if you have read the same scripture for years there is still always something new in that scripture that you never saw before! The difference between other books and the Bible is that "it is alive and active; it is sharper than any two-edged sword." Hebrews 4:12 God's word can heal, expose a lie and give the truth of a matter, it can give peace and joy. If I may, I would like to tell you of my experience yesterday with God's word. I had received word that my aunt was dying yesterday. I was of course upset and after I had prayed, I opened my Bible and began reading and after I read a chapter in the book of Psalms, I had a great peace. The peace that surpasses all understanding. My friends, there is power in God's word!
We can also experience God's goodness through prayer, prayer is so vital these days especially as we are nearing the end of time. Jesus is coming back soon, and He wants us to be ready for His appearing in the clouds of glory! Prayer connects us with Him, it brings us closer to Him. Prayer is a divine connection to Him, it gives Him access to work in the midst of circumstances, problems, and our lives. It also gives us the strength, assurance, and peace that we need to go through the day. Prayer can do a lot of things so do not underestimate the power of prayer. There are many ways we can experience God's goodness in our lives. We can experience His goodness through Him giving us favor or answering our prayers and needs.
Friends, God wants you to experience His goodness today, will you allow Him today? Will you believe that God has something wonderful planned for your life? Will you dare to believe that God will exceed every thought and expectation you have about life? He will do it and you will know His goodness like you have never known before! Let God do what He wants to do in your life today and you will taste and see that the Lord is good! May the Lord bless you and keep you. Shalom, until next time!
