Are You Ready For Your Aliyah?

 Good Morning Everyone!

I pray that you have all had a good week this past week and that you are doing well! This has been a busy yet emotional week for me. As all of you may know, Russia invaded Ukraine and I must say that since this has been going on, I have been greatly inspired by this precious nation. Their courageous faith has been so inspiring,
and I stand with them and pray for them that they will win this war! I have a new blog post for you today and this is not what I had planned to write, but this is what the Lord wanted to go forth. In the past week, I have been doing some serious thinking about eternity. Time is running out my friends and we must get serious about our walk and relationship with the Lord. Before we go on to explore more about this particular topic, I hope you have your cup of coffee or tea with you! Without further ado, let's begin!

The word Aliyah kept coming to me. Now what does Aliyah mean? Aliyah means to ascend or go up. This past week, over 5,000 jews made Aliyah to Israel which means they came to Israel. Can you imagine leaving your home and everything that you have known to go to a place that you have never been or maybe you have been there a handful of times. They packed up their belongings and had to start over. Well, my friends, the Jewish people make Aliyah all time every year. They come back to their homeland that the Lord promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In the same sense, we as believers in Christ are going to make Aliyah to one day.

You may be saying, what do you mean? As I said before Aliyah means to up, so shall we when the trumpet of the Lord sounds. The dead in Christ shall go up first then the ones who are alive and remaining shall go up next. You will leave everything behind to go to your promised homeland. Jesus said before He left this earth, "I go to prepare a place for you." John 14:3 You see this earth is not our home, we are just passing through. We are going to go to a better place, a place with no sorrow, no war, no hate, no pain, no suffering. A place full of peace, joy, and love. We will be in the Lord's presence 24/7! How do you get there? Well, you must receive the Lord as your savior, you must repent of your sins, and He will come into your life and make it new!

So, my question for you today is, are you ready to make your Aliyah? Where are you going to spend eternity? In heaven or in hell? The place of joy and peace or the place of suffering and sorrow? The place of living in the presence of the Lord or in the presence of the enemy and the demonic spirits tormenting you for all that you have done wrong. Hell is a real place, my friends. Do not allow the enemy to tell you lies about hell, it is real, and it has grave consequences.  So, my friends, now is the time to ask the Lord to search your heart and make sure everything is right between you and Him. Don't waste another moment not knowing where you will spend eternity, you may not have another day. We are not guaranteed tomorrow for tomorrow may never come, you only have today and this very moment. I pray that the Lord will help you in every area of your life and choose wisely where you will spend eternity. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Shalom, until next time!
