You Were Born For Such A Time As This

     I hope you are all doing well this week! I am getting better, praise the Lord! The Lord has been so gracious and good to me, I cannot praise Him enough for all that He has done! I wanted to hop on here today and write about being born for such a time as this. Yesterday, I went into deep prayer about a lot of things yesterday and during prayer, the Lord revealed to me that I was born for such a time as this. As the Lord was speaking to my spirit, He allowed me to see some amazing things! If you would like to find out, keep reading! I hope you have your cup of coffee or tea with you! I just finished mine and I had french vanilla coffee this morning that I could almost taste! I am believing that God is going to restore my sense of smell and taste back 100% so that I can enjoy eating and smelling my favorites again! So without further ado, let's jump in! 

  I was in deep prayer yesterday and I remember the Lord showing me this light coming down to the earth to light up all the darkness around. Many were drawn to this light and this light brought hope, peace, and unexplainable joy! This light was a wonder to the world and some would even say a threat to the government of that day. Who was this light and it was none other than Jesus. You see the world in that day was a lot like today. There was chaos, confusion, hopelessness, despair, it seemed as if all was lost until the Light of the world came down. He came down to give us a new life, a peace, a hope, and a future. There was so much darkness like our world today that it kept getting darker, but this light came and it lit up the darkness. People didn't really know what to do with this light and it made people wonder.

      Wonder about what? Well wonder about the words of wisdom He would speak or the miracles He performed. This light was unlike anything they have ever saw before. It made the people wonder... How can this be? Who is this person and why on earth would He take pity on the poor, the hungry, the thirsty, the sinners, the tax collector? Why, because He wanted to give them a new life, He wanted to shine His light into them so that they could go out in the world and preach the good news! What is the good news, you ask? Well the good news is Jesus changing your life, your heart, giving you a hope and a future that you could never give yourself. You see, Jesus was born for such a time as this! When He was born, He had a purpose to fulfill. It was to be the Light of the world and to transfer that light to us that we can be His little lights in this world!

     So let me ask you today, "Are you living today?" Are you breathing today? Are you moving, speaking, thinking? Did you wake up this morning? If your answer to these questions is yes then guess what? You were born for such a time as this to be a light to this world, to spread the gospel. Believe it or not, there are people out there that do not know about the good news and unless we tell them, how are they going to know? How are they going to know about God in heaven who sent His Son to change their lives and to give them a hope and a future? God who created everything that our eyes can see and cannot see took the time to created you and me to be His lights to the world! Friends, He makes no mistakes and you have a purpose for this is the reason you are still on the earth. Today, rejoice in the fact that God created you for such a time as this and fulfill your purpose! Let the Lord lead you and guide you today and bless you as you obey His voice!
