Hello Everyone!
I hope you are all doing well! I am doing quite well, and I went back to work this week. It was so nice to see all the kids and all my coworkers! Today I wanted to write a blog post about a Hebrew word that we can all apply to our lives! God has many names and there are so many that we can identify with because He is a God that identifies with us. This is why God is so special and should be special to us because He can identify with us! Before we begin, I hope you have a cup of tea or coffee with you. Let's begin!
Jehovah El Roi means the God who sees me. Now I want you to really stop and think about this for a moment. He is the God who sees you and me. How comforting is this? He sees us in our good times and bad. He sees us when we are suffering, we are upset or angry and He even sees us in times when we are full of joy! Have you ever felt as if you were alone? Have you ever felt like no one around you could relate to you? Well, I am here to tell you that you have a God who understands you completely and can relate to you better than yourself. God sent Jesus to this earth to live the life we have to live. Can you imagine Jesus leaving the comfort of heaven to come to this earth where there's so much sorrow and no peace? Jesus has suffered, He knows pain, He knows sorrow, and He also knows joy. He can definitely identify with us in every circumstance that we face.
He is the God who sees you my friends, He isn't blind to your circumstances, but He also doesn't want you to become a slave to them either. He has made us more than conquerors because of what He did on the cross. He made it possible for us to live a life of victory, yes it comes with a fight, but with Him fighting for us, it is worth it! So, friends, the next time you think that you are alone, forgotten, or no one understands, remember Jehovah El Roi- the God who sees me. He sees you right now as you are reading these words and He knows your heart. If you need healing for your heart, look unto the Lord, for He is the creator of your heart and He restore it as if nothing ever happened. May God bless you and keep you. Shalom, until next time!
